My New Go-To Fall Classic Hat I Love from Nordstrom

One of my favorite seasons is upon us, Fall. Many people would agree that the changing of the leaves during Fall produces some of the best sights and smells. The trees and forests are displaying a beautiful symphony of colors while in town the streets are full with the same warm colors of burnt orange, red and yellow. I see these tints of fall everywhere I go, it’s not only in nature but also these fashion-forward shades play a big role in fall fashion 2019 (and continue to trend during the winter months).

Right now I’m really into rust/burnt color or sugar almond (according to Pantone’s renowned Color Institute in the article “NY Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2019/2020”), it is a lively, vibrating, sweetened shade of brown that gives a fresh take on the wardrobe classic. Have you ever heard “Orange is the new black?” This is a new hue of orange that will make you feel luxe.

I recently purchased a new go-to Wyeth Wool Fedora from Nordstrom – the soft wide-brimmed hat and bright comfort of burnt color was what I was looking for. I choose to pair this hat with an H&M zebra animal printed dress in the similar fall colored tone because I like wearing neutral monochromatic looks for the fall and winter. However, I also love a little tweak to my outfit so I layered a various shades of the bright and cheerful scarf (style tip: you probably want to coordinate a color of the scarf to your outfit to create a little fun put-together look – there is no rule, all you have to do is to have fun and confident while wearing it!)

In order to complete the look, I buckled up a black belt and added a pair of black booties for toning things down and refocusing attention to the colors and onto the ensemble as a whole. Finally, it’s topped off with my splurge-worthy rust fedora and some gold jewelry. As Iris Apfel said, “…Put your money into accessories, you’ll have a million different outfits.”

So there you have some ideas about how to style orange burnt color hat this fall, I think this hat will be an amazing addition to add to any hat lovers’ closet: making you look chic effortless and standout (among a sea of all-black city wear).

Do you own any rust/burnt orange hats? What do you think about this color? Would you try one? Share me your thoughts at a comment below!
