I always ask you guys what you want to see next and this post is inspired by one of your requests! A lovely Instagram friend DMed me a few weeks ago telling me that Target has a hat collection this season and wanted to see how I can style them. I thought it would be a fun challenge to see what kind of fall outfits I could put together with the cute hats I found there (clothing pieces are mostly my wardrobe basics). So these are the looks I came up with:
Felt Fedora hats are one of the most trending hat styles to wear right now. Personally, I’ve found that a good fedora hat is the one item that can really elevate an entire outfit and make you feel totally put together. And for that reason, fedora hats have to be my favorite hat these days. Target offers a various fedoras and panama hats out there, but don’t worry: I looked through the entire hat collection at the Target website and rounded up my top 4 favorites (I didn’t pick a black fedora hat, because I already own quite a few black ones). Shopping tip: the best way to shop the hat collection at Target is online, because an actual store may not carry every hat item).
Look 1: Women’s Felt Panama Hat – A New Day™ Blush
Look 2: Women’s Felt Fedora Hat – A New Day™ Burgundy
I feel like I don’t need to further introduce berets as you’ve probably seen them everywhere. But beret trend is much more fun this year as it combines with my favorite print of the year – leopard; I love this bold take on the classic beret.
Look 3: Women’s Leopard Print Faux Angora Beret – A New Day™
Look 4: Women’s Panama Hat – A New Day™ Cream
In addition to timeless fedoras, panama hats and cool French girl berets, I also love cute caps especially newsboys caps and baseball caps. Nothing makes me feel more badass than when I’m wearing masculine inspired pieces. And I love the fact that a cap can be one simple piece to add that little boy-ish power to your look without trying super hard. Here are a few cute caps I’m into right now:
Look 5: Women’s Baseball Hat – Universal Thread™ Black
Look 6: Women’s Striped Flat Captain Hat – Universal Thread™ Navy
On the cool, crisp days of Fall, I like to wear crop top sweaters with slim-fitting jeans. Comfort is key when it comes to dressing up for cold months. Pair them with combat boots and a beanie – they’re fall/winter essentials to wear with just about anything!
Look 7: Women’s Chenille Beanie – A New Day™ Ebony
I seriously hope my #ThatHatGirl on A Saving Spree series inspires you to add some new fall hats to your wardrobe…they’re cute, practical and affordable! What are your favorite Fall looks? Let me know in the comments section below!
Love the styling on all of them but I think #3 is my favorite!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Tiffany! Can’t wait to see more of your pieces!
