I’m so excited about today’s post – I’ve been dying to try modern turbans in the past, but I never put my foot forward. Classic and sexy with some drama are a sum up of this statement-worthy accessory. This unique bow turban is more than just a beautiful headpiece, but about one’s individual style. So I was so thrilled when EJCo agreed to send me this magnificent Noire B.O.B. turban that makes the absolute perfect holiday party attire (Oh did I mention that I’m going to put my Christmas tree up very soon?, so my holidays are starting about now!).
Things I love about this modern turban (although there’s really nothing not to love!):
- “I like big bows and I cannot lie…” (Do you know this song? The lyric is changed, but you know what I’m talking about, right?) Anyway, some headwear are good to hide uncooperative hair or to keep a low profile, this turban can do some screaming – make a stylishly bold and standout look.
- The bow and turban have snaps to easily switch up the style/look of the bow…you can’t beat a turban that gives you multiple ways to wear it!
- Well-structured with comfort…the turban is made from poly-taffeta so it holds the shape of the bow very nicely when you wear it, while the inside of the turban is a satin lining so it gives you the best comfort.
- One size fits most, standard is from 22”-24” head circumference. I found that it is slightly loose because my head size is about 21.5” but the length of the turban was great so it helped the balance and made the headpiece sit well on my head. - The color options…this B.O.B. comes in three colors: pearl, denim and black (the one I was styling is black). All these classic colors are super easy to dress up and down for any occasion (I chose the darker color black because I could actually see myself wearing this piece a lot for holiday parties).

Did you say styling? That’s one wonderful aspect as there are so many ways to style this turban-inspired headpiece. In today’s look, I wanted to create a subtle outfit and let the headpiece be a fantasy narrative. Pairing it with my vintage t-shirt, a gold pleated midi skirt (that I found from Nasty Gal), a classic biker jacket along with the black booties. I think it all makes for a put-together exotic glamour look.
